Airing on MASN2, the official channel of the Nats, evidently.

I've noticed the same thing lately! Rather than having the teams flip-flop stations based on opponent, lunar phase, and whatever other criteria goes into it, it would sure be nice if they could park each team on a permanent channel. For example, have a 'MASN-DC' and a 'MASN-Baltimore.' A lot of the programming would be the same throughout the week, but one would show the Nats and the other would show the O's. MASN-DC would have special Nats-related programming, and the other would do the same for the O's. And DC people wouldn't have the O's shoved down their throats, and vice-versa.

I've always had a suspiscion that this channel-jumping nonsense has played a role--albeit a small one--in the Nats poor TV numbers over the years. Die-hards will find the games, but when you're trying to build a fan base, you have to make it easy for people to find you.

Imagine a brand new restaurant that's trying to build a clientele, but they keep changing their operating hours so people who MIGHT be interested in trying the place get frustrated and don't bother.

MASN 2 isn't easy for fios customers because it's on 501 in hd meaning you get half the lead in and post game of MASN- it seems like now that lerner is playing hardball with MASN, angelos decided to relegate the Nats to MASN2- freak the Os, here's hoping they never manage to crawl out of their cellar

Yeah. That's why it would be cool to have two separate but equal channels--one for each city. Or if we could just find a way to walk away from MASN altogether...that would be even cooler.

Hold down the fort for us. Where are you sitting? Small enough crowd, you'll probably be on TV.

The Nats should have picked a bilingual Latina sideline reporter... not that KA is bad, but it would have been a great move.

Its not raining here (less then 10 miles from the stadium).
