So, who gets an MLB coaching job first? Riggleman or Acta?

Hope its Riggleman... Maybe I am bias because he and I went to the same school, but under his direction the Nats were moving forward, I know Rizzo was and still is a key part, but I feel like Acta just sucks where ever he goes.

Thank the Lord almighty.

I may have been on his side in the beginning of the year, but as you may have read, I changed views in the middle of the year.  God almighty I've never seen such atrocity as a manager.

Sandy Alomar Jr. is now interim.  I'd like to see him get a chance at full time, but I'd also love to see Omar Vizquel as manager.

Next thing we need to do is fire Chris Antonetti - absolute bum for a GM; and Mark Shapiro - not a very good baseball executive.

And then Larry Dolan needs to sell the team.  WE NEED AN OWNER WITH A BRAIN.  I'd love to see Dan Gilbert or Mark Cuban as owner.

We desperately need a house cleaning.   And as much as I love seeing Chris Perez (very effective) and Shin-Soo Choo on the team, we need to trade them for prospects.

Norv Turner in what sense?  Hanging around for years, or that he was fired very late in the season?

I can see no reason why the Indians couldn't wait out the final six games and then quietly release him, rather than submit him to this humiliation.

Norv was also inexcusably fired with three games left in the 2000 season.   But you know - and I was not  a Norv Turner fan -  but if the Skins had stuck with him, over the last 12 years, they would have been far more successful than they have been with that succession of clown coaches.    Can't really see that the same would apply with Acta.

If you're trying to reference me, let me stop it before you look like a bigger tool.

I have NEVER said the Nats won't be a good team.  I've said time and again I am a Nats fan as well (however some less-than-brilliant people here can't seem to comprehend such information).

I said in the beginning that I liked Acta.  But I changed not long after that.  If you actually took the time to read, you'd see that.

That's like winning tickets to a Nickelback or Mumford and Sons concert.  You know it's gonna suck.

this forum's discussion does not revolve around you, contrary to your seeming belief.

Who said that?

The day we fired Manny, there was a national sportswriter who went on twitter and blasted the Nationals for it. He said that we were clowns, incompetent, that Manny was a great manager and firing him was an example of why the Nationals would never field a good team.

I wish i could remember who it was.

I predict that he will manage in the majors again, but his next job will be an assistant coach or in minors -- very unlikely to get a manager job in MLB after two unsuccessful stints.
