When did that pitch become a strike?

When Diaz became the home plate ump.

I've been drinking so much water trying to battle an oncoming cold that I feel like I'm drowning.

When did that pitch become a strike?

When it's being thrown to a Nat.  Redding wasn't getting calls that were much better pitches!

Debbi Taylor is going to give the update on Redding so I'll have to listen to her.  :|

We'll pass it on to you so feel free to mute here. Although her voice isn't as squeaky tonight.

Redding has a elbow contusion, out 7-10 days.

Will we call up another pitcher?

Why is Manny bringing in all of our worst relievers??  Does he want to win the game or not?

Our options are meager, Traber and Carrasco.

Clearly Manny's pitcher selection means he's willing to settle for 2-1 in this series.  He probably still wants to win but...

So that pitch is only a strike against our batters.

Maybe not the worst but he has been very shaky since coming back from injury.  I would feel much more comfortable with Rivera or Bowie pitching.

What about Balester?  They should call him up to start

Yeah, but it's Manny's job to allow Colome to get his groove back. We all know how good he CAN be.

Colome just isn't pitching well now.  I really don't know why Manny keeps putting him out there.

There are going to be enough games over the remainder of the season where games are out of reach that he can pitch, where it won't matter.

Yeah I totally forgot about Speigner but I don't see Balester being called up to start. Not after they shut down Lannan to keep from overworking him too soon.
