That doesn't necessarily mean he's been pitching well; more like the hitters are too tempted by his beachballs, and swing early.

It's MEAT balls not beach balls. Get your pitchers straight.

How did that ball get through.

Redding has been clocked at 94.

It's really odd, but he's the ONLY pitcher I haven't seen this year. All of the games he's pitched are the only games I've missed. I have to see this guy pitch.

He's pitching tomorrow's matinée.

Unbelievable DP!

Lo Duca may have been safe at first so it's nice to be getting the benefit of the doubt for a change. I think the 1B umpire was caught up in admiration of the stellar Nat defense.

I so called that double play!

Wow ... the benefit of another close call at first - I must be dreaming ...

I'm pretty sure Lo Duca was safe at first, we are getting some calls tonight.

Doesn't count unless you type it on here (otherwise it's hindsight bias )

And the replay showed he was definitely safe.

Bacsik has to be under or around 70 pitches so there is no reason why he can't squeeze one more frame out of that arm. We have Monday off anyway.

69 pitches through 6.  7-8-9 hitters due up but they have hammered him all game

Lo Duca must have been watching and admiring, too, because it shouldn't even have been THAT close.
