Plenty of great seats available this week would be an understatement.

Going to be a tough one to get in in the early going - updated Capital Weather Gang precip chances:

Monday (Padres) - 100%
Tuesday (Padres) - 80%
Wednesday (Pirates) - 20%

I have Mystics conflicts Monday and Saturday but plan on being in TBSITH for all other fixtures of this homestand.

Gio will be doing a Q & A in the Stars and Stripes Club at six on Saturday, I'm tempted to use my pass for that one.

Capital Weather Gang's Nat Cast has: 'Just a slight chance of a shower or storm early. But that should quickly end as the game progresses, and odds favor it staying dry!' with temoeratures in 70's and 20% chance of rain (outside my office window, actually, it looks delightful out).

Looking good for the rest of the homestand too - CWG isn't posting any rain-chance percentages over the five following days.

...but as the weather seems to be cooperating for the rest of the homestand, Metro, as usual, isnt (http://www.wmata.com/about_metro/news/PressReleaseDetail.cfm?ReleaseID=5226):

Metro weekend track work May 18-20, 2012
Buses replace trains between East Falls Church & West Falls Church; Single tracking on portions of Red and Green lines as rebuilding continues

The massive effort to rebuild Metrorail will continue over the weekend of May 18-20 on the Orange, Red and Green lines.  The work will begin at 10 p.m. Friday and continue through system closing on Sunday.

Orange Line

Buses will replace Orange Line trains betweenthe East Falls Church and West Falls Church stations for testing associated with the Silver Line Metrorail extension.  Throughout the weekend, Orange Line trains will operate in two segments: between Vienna and West Falls Church station every 20 minutes, and between East falls Church and New Carrollton station at regular weekend intervals.  Customers should allow about 20 minutes of additional travel time. View Advisory

Red Line

Red Line trains will single track between Takoma and Forest Glen to allow for platform reconstruction and fiber optic cable installation, and between Van Ness and Friendship Heights to allow for rail and fastener renewal and joint elimination for a smoother ride. Red Line trains between Shady Grove and Glenmont will operate every 24 minutes throughout the weekend.  Customers should allow 20 minutes of additional travel time.  Between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, additional trains will operate between Van Ness and New York Avenue only, providing service every 12 minutes in the downtown core. View Advisory

Green Line

Green Line trains will single track between Greenbelt and Prince George's Plaza stations to allow for tie renewal work. Green Line trains will operate every 16 minutes throughout the weekend. Yellow Line trains will operate between Huntington and Mount Vernon Square only. Customers traveling to/from stations north of Mount Vernon Square should use Green Line trains to complete their trip. Please allow 10-15 minutes of additional travel time. View Advisory

There is no work scheduled this weekend on the Blue or Yellow lines, except for the minor service adjustment to the Yellow Line noted above.

I can assure you that Calsgr8 is not SBF.  SBF is a total lame-o something Cal is definitely not.

Haven't been to a Nats game in a couple years, but I'm going to the 1st and 2nd game of the O's series. Can't wait to get back to Nats park.

Come by the Red Loft when it opens, I buy the first round and once other people arrive it's Blue's turn.

I like Screech shirts!  Adds some variety to the Curly W, #11 & #37 shirts I have!

Also sometimes the patterns on kids caps are way cooler than the adults!

Correction to my previous statement.

I have season tickets to THIS Saturday's game; but need to get tickets to the Saturday game AT CAMDEN!

One is exposed and the other is chopped off for archery.

I'm going Friday.
