Way too early to get kicked out. Bonehead move by Dmitri!

That umpire was totally wrong - Dmitri was walking away - the ump then said something to him as he walked away - completely inappropriate -

An absolutely horrendous strike three call - completely stupid umpire - totally provoked Dmitri - just horrendous - stupid frickin umpires for acting bigger than the game - a total disgrace
Yes..bad call. But Dmitri needs to keep his calm. He knows we can't afford to lose him that early. Plus, SOMEONE needs to come out and grab him before he goes too far. Now we're stuck w/ the worst baseball player of all time at first.

I agree, that ump should be scalded in hot grease for that BS...And WHERE IN THE HELL IS OUR MANAGER TO BACK UP HIS PLAYER?  Time to show your spine Manny...

Dmitri was screaming and cursing at him the whole time while walking away..can't do that either.

I'm not condoning what Dmitri did - but the umpire made the situation 100 times worse which is inexcusable - umpires are supposed to be nuetral at all times - not be emotional, not blow their cool - ever! Dmitri was walking towards the dugout - so what if he was still stewing - it was OVER - the ump threw him out as he walked away - that's when Dmitri turned around and went back towards the ump - the ump's behavior was completely inappropriate.

Well...let's move on. This is more what our lineup is going to look like in a week or so anyways. Hopefully, though, w/ a new 1st baseman and NOT FICK!

Chico needs some roids if he's going to last here. Dmitri is part of the cause for that homer, though.

How do you figure Dmitri had anything to do with the Rockies homerun?

Just as I expected we are getting our asses handed to us.. The Rockies are far and away the best offense we have seen all year.  They should easily put up 25-30 runs in this 4 game series.  It doesn't help that Chico is pitching terrible and the offense is invisible against a career minor leaguer making his 1st start.

Kearns needs to back up about 4 inches...he can't hit inside pitches and thats all he's ever thrown.

It's the opposite of why a manager pumps up his team in the LATE innings when the team needs a boost. We need a boost w/ Dmitri's bat... not his mouth.

you're right...i'm done now

Kearns easily has one of the worst swing in the big leagues.. I still don't know why any of our coaches fixes it or at least tweaks it.

it's similar to Braun's swing...but less level. Plus, Kearns doesn't seem to know what he wants to do w/ the ball when he gets up there.

Kearns also seems to take the same swing no matter where the ball is, or what type of pitch is thrown.

Exactly..

what an embarrassing performance. 4 IP 1 ER 5 K for this bum Jimenez.  For us to win any of these 4 games our offense has to score at least 6-7 runs.
