For as much derision as the entire Surface project has gotten, the copies are coming out fast and furious.  When is Blackberry going to release theirs?  It might save them!

Their customer service has been said to be the worst in the industry.  Good luck if you get one.

If you want a micro sd slot get a G4 or the upcoming V10.  I might give my gf my G4 and get the v10 for myself.  The v10 has a ess dac chip in it.  They make some of the best dac chips in the world except for the boutique hifi companies that make their own home baked chips for 50 to 100k dollar DAC units.  I might not have to use my chord hugo dac/amp as much.

You pay basically half price and hope it doesn't break. I had a good experience with my OPO.

the only phone I'd expect any customer service from would be an iPhone (and you pay for it), otherwise, order through a store like amazon with generous returns or just go into it expecting nothing

Looks like the V10 is already out.  LG is currently running a promotion of a free battery, free charger, and 200 GB microSD card if you purchase before the 15th.

1/4 TB of storage on a phone .... that's a lot of pictures.

I'll have to go to my verizon store this weekend.  I just got the G4 a few months ago, but the V10 really caught my eye with the better camera which was already one of or the best camera in the smartphone market and the huge upgrade in audio.  That promotion is a great deal.

Droid Turbo2 is one I want to see.

Btw.  My agency uses Samsung not Apple products.  They moved from Apple to Samsung about a year ago!

My Nexus 5 was dying, speaker and microphone stopped working properly, camera died, battery life was going down hill, and the WiFi was getting weird.

I was just about set on getting a One Plus X for $250 on the open sales Tuesdays, but on Monday night Amazon had the Nexus 6 (last gen Nexus phone) for $250.  I got it today and so far, holy crap this thing is big.  But I'm already starting to get used to it.  Using the 5 already feels small.  I also like that they didn't go for super slim as it has a nice heft and feel in the hand.

Very early first impressions but definitely seems like very solid phone especially for $250 completely unlocked and off contract.

Apparently I'm an old fart for not knowing that Pixel Launcher (also by Google) is all the rage now.

I use Nova on my pixel xl. I prefer being able to create tabs separating different category of apps.

Thoughts on rooting a Samsung G4? I see there is software to do it (Kingoroot). There's so much bloatware on this damn phone that I'm out of space with just a few additional apps.

Anyone done this? Is it hard? Dangerous?

Anything coming out for the holidays that is worth waiting for?

My LG V10 died, again. It's insured, so they'll just send me  a refurbished one. But I don't feel like going through this in six months, and I'm eligible for a new phone, so yea, anything coming out this month that takes a microSD card?
