i watched the last minute of the final game, I just can't get into seeing the same teams every year.

As DPM said, there was only one Final Four team from last year to return (Kentucky). To be honest, I'd be hard-pressed to find back-to-back two Final Fours that have less in common than last year and this year. Last year was the story of the Cinderellas, this year was all about the power programs.

A shame, because you missed two great games today.

Ugh, I could have won my pool if Ohio State had won last night. I had picked three of the Final Four teams correctly (Kentucky, Ohio State, and Kansas). I needed Ohio State to beat Kansas and then beat Kentucky. I didn't actually believe that Ohio State was going to beat Kentucky, but I knew I'd need to go with a non-Kentucky pick to win considering >50% of people in the pool picked Kentucky to win it all.

Today was usually the greatest day in sports when you used to have the college basketball championship game, NBA and NHL playoff hunt games plus this was traditionally MLB opening day.

Someone else had already clinched the pool no matter what happens in the Championship game.
