Now that pitch wasn't even close. That's not fair. Way inside off the plate.

I'm not watching, but that coincides with what Charlie and Dave said.  Ridiculous.

That right there was the worst called strike of the year. A foot inside off the plate and Ross brought the glove back over. The umpire is playing right into Medlen's hand assuming every 2 seamer close is a strike.

Ridiculous inside strike calls there.  He's pitching further and further inside (to lefties) and no pitch too far off the plate to be called a strike.

Yup, he keeps getting further and further in on the lefties and the umpire keeps obliging him and calling everything a strike. There's gotta be a limit. Unreal

Agreed, the ones to Espy were borderline debatable but the Bernadina one was clearly not a strike.

The pitch track is off a bit too.  A pitch off the inside is showing on the edge, and a pitch on the outside corner is showing way outside.  Basically, the pitch tracker is shifted to the left from the catcher's perspective.

Those last two K's looked inside but as long as he gives those calls to us it's all good.

It never seems to work out fairly in any given game.  But yeah, Det should pound inside and so far it appears he is doing so.

Here comes one of those crappy 1-0 games the Braves have been having.  Assist to the home plate ump.
