Who cares that Zim plays good defense though? That ball probably goes over 50+% of the third basemen in the league's heads for a 2-run double.

Then set the pitch tracker to a marginally different strike zone at the beginning of the game.

Those fat, bloated old men behind the plate shouldn't be the focus of the game.

IMHO.

I'd hate that. I like the different strike zones; the human aspect of it all.

Who was that guy w/ the money pickoff move to second last season?

Jason Simontacchi.

you mean trying to fleece the team out of guaranteed money by lying about his health?

  Exactly  :?

What are the OTHER "flavors?"  I MUST get some of this... is it bottled by the Joe Kennedy Moonshine Gang or does it have this emblem?

No one doubts his glove. The complaints are about his bat.

Jason Simontacchi.

That's right. One of the best pickoff moves to second that I've seen.

Pena out on a 90 mph fast ball. He freaking blows.  He can't hit breaking balls nor fastballs.

Pulled his head like a mofo there. I thought they taught people not to do that in Little League? Maybe that was just my league. :?

I said we would plate a run in the 5th or 6th but it's probably going on 2 where you are.

sigh. What other team in the Majors would have no runs against Vargas thru 5? This is a joke.  Most teams would have at least 3-4 off him by now.

half one now, and unless we get something going soon, it gets to the point of being absurd to be up at this time for any reason on a wednesday night/ thursday morning.

Our pitchers have better ABs than half the lineup. Maybe they should be higher in order. Flores definitely should be. Switch him and Dukes around.

What about AK? He is 0/2 tonight and has only seen 3 pitches. That's awful.

That'd work, too. Sticking w/ batting orders that aren't producing makes no sense whatsoever. OK, I understand if you want the same guys out there, but why the same order?
