Clippard has been getting a lot of work lately and has been great.  I never want to lose a game, but I'm not that upset at his performance.  No pitcher will be perfect 100% of the time.

As long as he can bounce back to his old form the next time he comes into a game.

good throw by Johnson

Not really, the runner was safe, we got a break on the call.  Dibble is right, Nick should step towards the pitcher to take the throw in less time and have a better angle to 2nd as well.

Burnett's uniform would probably fit just right on Fielder.

the two out walk to Mike Rivera should have never happened. You could have thrown a ball underhand up there and he wouldn't have hit it. Walking him is the last thing you want to do in that situation.

Throwing a 3-2 change-up instead of fastball to the next batter was as puzzling as a pitch selection as I have seen in a while.

Great job by Burnett, cleaning up the mess.  It's his game now.

In 33 innings this season, Burnett's only given up 22 hits. Nice.

he didn't hit the runner and didn't throw the ball into the outfield. good throw considering the angel he was throwing from.

That's awesome. I know everyone loves Nyjer, but Burnett has been lights out for us also.

I gave him the nickname Sean "Baggy" Burnett when he first came over but it didn't stick
