Vibram is going to refund anyone who bought their 5-toe shoes for running to settle a class-action lawsuit alleging that they over-hyped the benefits of running in their shoes:

I have a pair that I bought for running, but only ran in them a couple of times, it was just too painful to run on asphalt or sidewalks in them.
