Well the outcome of this one is pretty much set.  I'm going to go watch James Bond movies.  I'll start with Dr. No.

So as we continue to dig ourselves into the cellar of the NL East we must "remain calm and focus on all the positives".

Excuse me if you were around more often, you would know I dropped that positive BS a long time ago

Its not really meant towards you, its sort of become a running gag.

EDIT:  Please, humor me, I need to laugh rather than cry.

I'm willing to bet that Guzman will be a HUGE improvement over both Clayton and last year's Guzman, I honestly can't wait until he comes back

The day we get rid of Watson will be the day Guzman comes off the DL.
Royce Clayton actually makes me miss Guzman.  Clayton is sporting a nice .431 OPS.

Randolph letting Pedro go out & warm up for the 8th and then taking him out before he threw a pitch was pretty classless.  He was just shoving it up our a## given all the brouhaha over the last week.

By the way, I didn't see the early part of the game.  Did we knock Pedro down in any of his ABs?

No they walked him on the first at-bat...yes that's right...walked him.

Joe Morgan was saying that we HAD to throw at him in his first AB or the team would totally lose respect.

I highly doubt the Nats had ANY respect to lose in the first place..
seriously, what team has ANY respect for the Nats, so I really wouldn't be too worried about it

At least we get the Marlins this weekend.  We should probably win at least one of the games.

once again, dont get your hopes up... Does everyone realise that we account for 4 of The Yankee's lite's 6 wins, thats pretty disgusting.

Actually, it could be looked at the other way around, maybe the real reason we're losing is because the Mets are a real good team and that maybe, just maybe we dont stink that bad.

Now that that pathetic excuse for a "contest" is over, I'd just like to say that our entire "offensive" lineup deserves to be booed right out of the stadium.

once again, I'm not too worried about it because 1.) we didnt have any respect to lose and 2.) realistically, NO team would have respected us ANY more if we hit them back, because no team takes us seriously or considers us a remote threat.
