Nook hits into a DP..  What a pathetic overall performance. Bad pitching and no offense to speak off minus the grand slam.

there's good 'ol Langerhans..

He's improved dramatically.
Instead of striking out looking, he's striking out swinging.
Big difference.

7 runs, dude. Those 3 runners needed to get on for there to be a GS...plus the other 3 runs. Blame the pitching, if anything, for being "pathetic".

He's by far the best pitcher we have sent out there tonight.  2.27 ERA on the season

because USUALLY when I see him pitch, it's not good!  If I don't turn on the game or visit the board, he does alright. But never when I 'm around!

I don't think he's had many bad outings.

Then that's our obvious only hope right now.  Hopefully I haven't jinxed him w/ my presence on the board and w/ the game on!

There's MOMENTUM in this game?
Seems more like vultures fighting over the last scrap on a dead body...

I'm hoping that Acta sees Logan's shortcomings as a baseball player(no instincts)and lets Church play CF the rest of the year or let Maxwell get a start or two.

Does my sig now take away from the effect of my lion? I wouldn't want that to happen. This is why I stayed away from the whole sig thing. I did contemplate putting some more lions down there, but thought that that may be too much.

Good job, Chris.  Not only did he put up our first '0' he also got Hanley out.  Now if only Manny put him in the game when we had a lead..

That's just as bad.  Why do our hitter feel they MUST swing at a 3-1 pitch?  They do realize that he'll have to throw, after that pitch regardless of what he throws, he'll have to throw another one?

...and what are the chances that a pitcher, who's 3-1 is going to throw two consecutive strikes?
