Oh c'mon - he'll just get his pitches back to the inside corner

Stammen is done.

Scary, ain't it?
Mit(Pirate knowledge?) you might know more about this.  A friend of mine and myself were talking about the year after Clemente died(1973).  I thought I read the Pirates tried Sanguillen in Right Field to replace him?  My friend says no?

He's been up all inning. On top of being extremely dangerous, leaving the ball up is a sign of fatigue.

I remember Sanguillen playing the outfield but I'm not sure it was right.   Off the top of my head I'm thinking left.   In my minds eye I see him messin' up a play in left against Cincinnati in a NL playoff series

ED add ... looked up on baseball.com shows Richie Zisk in right in '73

We could be up 40 runs and I still wouldn't feel safe against these asshats.

Especially now that we don't have a closer.

Nice play by Zim.

So as of tonight, teams are pulling their hair out over the Nats' machinations. We'll see if the White Sox can finish a Dunn deal.#trades

Jackson still sucks.  Why would anybody who makes good decisions, want him?

That sounds like more leaked bullcrap from the White Sox. I hope we don't trade Dunn to them after the way they have been trying to play the media against the Nats for the past couple weeks.
