This is ridiculous, especially coming from the team's own fans.  I will leave you guys to your lovely "disappointed observations" for the day.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but did you just expect everyone to lie back and say "Wow, NOTLD is right, he's the best fan ever and we are all awful fans?"  How is insulting US any more productive than insulting the team that we're all paying to watch?

Forget the Duke shutout CG. O well. He still pitched a gem for me!

Sutton mentioned that the D-backs are interested in Cordero.  How about a trade of Chad for Livan + a prospect?

I'm all for it! We can convert J.R. to a closer.

I odn't want Livan back. I rather stick with what we're doing. I take prospects but i don't want Livan back Let the young guys pitch plsu we still need to see Simontacchi and that lefties from last year who was a starter

Not a chance.  Cordero isn't going anywhere for any less than 3 top prospects.

Isn't Livan still relatively young? Wow, he's 33. I thought he was in his late twenties maybe 30.

If we lose this game 2-0, I will consider it a relative success.  Of course if we won it 6-2 I would consider it an absolute success, but I don't see that in the cards.

What is so fascinating and intriguing about Chad? He hasn't looked to sharp in his opportunities this year.

Obviously not save opportunities, but he has had a few appearances so far in the 9th. Hasn't faired to well, evident by his 13.50 ERA.

So you're basing your opinion of his value as a closer on 2 IP in throw-away games?
