Kimbrel is healthy, our closer isn't.
Our's wont be healthy for a long time. The rest of the league has no pity on us. We still have to win games with what we have. The guys that are here need to step the freak up or we will fall behind in the standings and be buried.

What's hilarious is I thought the lineup had serious issues coming into the season but lately I was eyeing the DL and basically :az: for our lineup with everyone in it.

Ain't that the truth :?

Ok, I've calmed down a bit. I just keep repeating to myself:

"Win 2 out of every 3 series, sweep a series for every series you get swept, make the playoffs."

Now let's make some freakin changes to this lineup. I really liked Espinosa but he needs to get his head on and start showing a bit more hustle. Stop using HRod in the 9th unless you're up by 3 or more, and put more trust in your young talent.

Jesus, we lost to the freaking Pirates. And Braves win. And we aren't sole #1 NL East holders anymore. And this game was as painful as they get. I mean we rally in the ninth, then H-of the microscopic, teeny tiny -Rod blows it. Oh, and we lost to the freaking Pirates. And the Braves won. freak.

He said Espinosa will be starting tomorrow and Rodriguez will continue to close.

Rizzo needs to take action and option Danny

Oh, okay, there's that then. I'm tired, saw they'd won more than us with one more loss, just guessed. Knowing we are still in first doesn't make tonight one iota better though,  bottom line, Braves have won one more game than we have even if we are still in first by a fraction of a fraction so tonight is still a crappy night.

The only positives come out of this game:
Edwin Jackson pitched well, can we trade him for a good center fielder ?
Adam LaRoche went 2/3 with 1 hr 2 rbi, he is the most productive hitter on the team now.
Any chance we will renew his contract ?

He has a team option, I believe it will get picked up.
