It's kinda fun to watch Damian Jackson hit a homer at RFK.  Guillen, Vidro, etc. should be properly embarassed at themselves for complaining so much.

do we still have alberto castilla in our minor league system - he looked pretty good defensively during the WBC and even got a hit. i think he's a better backup than wiki "oh oh the ball went through my legs" gonzalez

The worst thing about losing a lead for the Nationals is that it means, in order to have a chance to win, they have to score again.  And there are times, like tonight, when they don't seem to seem to be able to string hits together.  That means they're only going to score on homeruns.  :|

And only scoring on homeruns is not a longterm winning strategy.  :x

  • Werth on a roll!!!!
The irony of Jackson and Soriano having hr success in rkf when both of them are the smallest non-pitching players on our team.
It's got to be a psychological problem with the others players who complain abot rfk. I've seen to many small players form oppsition hit hommeruns. Remember last year, i think it was the cardinals when that leadoff hitter who's smalelr than soriano and jackson hit a homerun with a bunt fake.

People have been saying this since last year...it's all in their heads and it affects their play.

Ted Williams as the Senators manager was a terrific hitting instructor, and would have worked wonders with Guzman.  The last player to hit 400, Williams always said it is good vision and swinging fast and correctly that matter more than how big a batter is.
