Horrendous call by the ref. Must be the same one that worked the Michigan Syracuse game.  :?

I used to.   Lately, he's too hyped.   All the color guys are beginning to sound the same  ....  Kellogg, Raferty and of course the originator of all the BS, Vitale.

I liked it better when he was in the studio. I also liked the studio show better when it didn't have Barkley and Smith.

A fine as free stylin' open b'ball game as I've ever seen.    I was in Albuquerque in '83.   This is close  ...  so far.   It's all playground.   The refs are lettin' 'em play.

I was a Louisville fan when Unseld was there.   I thought Michigan would win tonight and I thought McGary would be the difference.   Great night of college hoops.

I'm not really a basketball fan, but my boy flew into town with two tickets to the final four. He had already promised the extra one to his childhood friend who also lives in Atlanta, but he asked me if I wanted to check out the Fan Fest since they had an extra ticket to that. I said sure and seeing as there was no open container enforcement in Olympic Park, he bought a 12 pack and were walking around and drinking. One by one people started coming up and asking us for a beer. Our inner entrepanuers had an idea and started selling them for 2 bucks a piece. We took that money and went back and bought more. This continued for about 8 more 12 packs. We basically all made some pocket money and ended up drinking for free. I am known to get a little ambitious when I'm drunk so as everyone was making their way into the Georgia Dome, I was supposed to make my way back to the MARTA and ride back to my car. Drunken bravery had me in it's grip and I decided that hell or highwater, I was going to sneak into the National Championship Game. As the large crowd was making their way into the stadum, the ticket scanners were trying to make sense of the chaos. I told my boys to give me a five minute lead and meet me inside. He had what was called flash tickets, where they scan your credit card that you purchased the tickets with and they print them for you right there. I gave they lady my card and when she scanned it, it came back as declined (obviously) so I said "Oh, tonights tickets must be on my friends card. He's back there at security. I'll just wait for him here. As I waited, they turned their attention for a split second and I seized the moment. Through the turnstyle I went, and directly into the bathroom. From there I texted my friends to meet me inside. We met up and found a couple unused seats in the section they had tickets for. The seating was less than ideal.

After sitting there for a bit we went to go smoke and my good friends childhood friend had just had knee surgery. When he hit the bottom of the stairs his knee gave out for a second and he took a spill. Nothing serious, but just enough to cause a scene. I got him a wheel chair and asked for an escort to medical services. Once we got in the elevator down to the floor level, I started chatting up the young, attractive event staff lady. I informed her that his knee wasn't really hurt but if she could escort us to our "better seats" we would grease her palms a little bit. We ended up here.

This picture doesn't do it justice... and we ended up moving a few more rows down.

Our final seats of the evening had this view.

Not exactly "floor seats" but not bad either considering I didn't even have a ticket to begin with, and my two friends had nosebleeds.

We even saw the son from Hardcore Pawn sitting near us. My buddy shook his hand, but I think he's a douchenozzle and wouldn't grace him with my touch.
