JCA guess you woke up on the wrong side of the bed... But I said nothing of ALR. Simply stated Prince would have done great here as he did in Detroit.
I had a great night's sleep and no joint issues when I woke up. I feel like I'm 45 again!
Simply put, it would have been a bad signing to have outbid Detroit for Prine last year. While he is clearly better than ALR, and would have locked down the position for the next 8 or 9 years, it would have only resulted in a marginal improvement to last year's team. Going forward, the team can spend the $200MM extra it would have cost for Prince on more valuable things.
