Great game tonight, just awesome
The only thing better than a Zimmerman walk off would be sweep of the Fillies

Imagine if Zim got hit on that pitch, and then Dunn hit a walk off grand slam, after everything that's happened. How amazing would that be

What a great win to be at tonight. Send those drunken ass hats on a nice three hour drive home with visions of Brad Lidge crying to sleep tonight all the way back to Philly. Zimmerman just seems to be a head case, in a good way. The Strasburg debut, first time up, boom, HR. He seems to need a 40,000+ crowd, game tight/on the line and then you have an 80% chance of a HR.

that's what I was praying for.  Zimm walking and Dunn blasting one out.  But a Zimm blast was just as good, especially the look he gave Dunn when he flipped the bat.

Best game I've ever been to, minus the fact that a lot of Phillies fans got their early and took a pretty good amount of the bobbleheads and I saw a bunch of them during the game and on the metro breaking the arms and head of Morgan.

Debbie Taylor & I were sitting in section 117 when Zimmerman repeated his walk-off character tonight

Bob: "Debbie Taylor with Ryan Zimmerman."

Wife: "Oh no."

Debbi: "What we you looking for?"

Wife: "A pitch I couldn't hit."

SSB is probably loving his walk out of the stadium tonight.  (Image removed from quote.)

it was so sweet. amazing how quickly those Phillies fans can go from obnoxious pricks to whining little chumps. I hope a ton of them spent a load on their bus trips and drunk fests only to get kicked in the teeth. Amazing how many buses were around blocking side streets. No way the organization can't do more to discourage this garbage, but they do everything to encourage it. Clearly a ton of people soured on the idea of attending the Phillies games and dumped tix. I really had mixed feelings. The wins have been great, but seeing those drunken inbred criminals swarm the park really makes for a relatively miserable experience. It tends to bring out the worst in a lot of us, because it is so frustrating to see how the organization just sells us out. It's tiresome to see how the staff there will treat regular attendees as outsiders and do nothing to control the Philly fan behavior and seat poaching. I don't know how many times people were getting up in rows in front of me as Philly fans were trying to fill in empty seats and then having to move when the people with the seats returned. The ushers should be told to harrass the Philly fans and do ticket checks constantly.

Consider Nats Xtra just said his whole problem is mental, yeah, I'd call that a head case.

I wish the guy the best though. Team needs him badly.

The team has no need of a soft tossing lefty with no out pitch in the rotation.

You must have encountered a different group of Philly fans than I did. Walking out of the home plate gate, I heard several dozen chanting "Let's Go Phillies" "Let's Go Eagles" and finally, the oh-so-lovely with children around, "Fu** the Nationals." You've got to give it to the most moronic phans in Baseball, 90% of whom can't even spell sabermetrics much less know what it means, they are a delusional bunch. On the other hand, and my preferred opinion, they were all probably so drunk they forgot where they were, that they were in an away park (Easy to do considering they held the majority by my estimation.) and were so ****ing wasted out of their minds figured a walk-off HR meant they won since it came in the bottom of the 9th. Regardless, this loss, such a devastating loss to top it off, didn't even seem to be enough to shut them up. It's like the age-old, "How many licks does it take to get the center of a tootsie-roll pop?" question. What does it take to shut Philly fans up? The world may never know.

Too bad we aren't there to have your back.

Granted I do have a loud voice, but its intentional.  I'm hoping it echos down to the field!  She didn't tell me NOT to cheer but to tone it down a notch.  However, when I keep hearing LETS GO PHILLIES.  I don't kick anything down a notch!!!  Oh, He_ _ NO!

And that "Nationals fan"  Had a Schnieder T-shirt on (I hear he's now with the Philthies), asking me if I come to to games every night.  I said no I had a 21 game plan but I sold my ticket for tonight so I could get a Nyger Bobblehead.  Further explained how I got these seats with my points.  Her comment was 'Oh I thought this section was only sold to FULL Season ticket holders'.  What the heck is your implication with THAT comment?!  I told her not for the past 2 years!!!!

Thanks PA, I knew if you were in the area, you'd have my back!

The staff members I have talked to are genuinely afraid of these clowns. I watched them harass the hell out of the bartenders to violate the 2 beers per person rule, this one particular guy wouldn't budge, and they gave him no tip and stormed off.

Yeah, I know people who witnessed Phillies fans in the last series smoking in the stands (I have seen it on the concourse and gotten it squelched.) Evidently the fans doing it in the stands were not only brazen about it, but when the ushers tried to stop them, the section just taunted the ushers until they stopped trying and went away. That's pathetic. The idiots tossed at last night's game should have been handcuffed and tased if they didn't control their behavior, not allowed to get an entire section riled up to harrass the police escorting them out. Those punks should be treated the way they treat jerks in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. The should have been thrown in jail cell for the remainder of the weekend.

They should issue the ushers high-powered water guns for extinguishing cigarettes.

My brother is sportsfanning about Lannan. I don't think it matters, Lannan is now His Start Lines Up With the Empty Spot guy, not Defacto Ace guy.
