haven't you heard? he likes getting hit by pitches and purposely jumps out in front of everything and hopes it hits him.

Not shirt-brushed or flexing a bicep - ear-holed.

he's just let it bounce off his helmet. he'll never move out of the way. hell, he'll even stick his head over the plate with a sign on it that says "hit me here."

Wilmington-Potomac (bottom of the 10th):  King who was 4-5 on Monday and 2-3 tonight, hits a line drive to right field, but the Wilmington SS makes a leaping grab to rob him of a hit.  Solano hits a chopper to third, grounder for out #2.  Lyons swings and misses on a 3-2 pitch to send this game to the 11th.

The Wilmington Blue Rocks are bit of a nemesis for the P-Nats, as they beat them in a playoff series in 2004, winning 2 of 3.  By the way, Severino's final line was 2.0 IP, 0 H, 1 BB, 3 SO.  The placement of Martin Beno and Hassan Pena onto the DL will definitely hurt the P-Nats chances of taking this game much further.

The guy's a cheap-shot artist.  He "accidently" elbowed Hanley in the throat after Hanley slid into 2b.  Another game, he grounded to 1b, and came inside the line and "accidentally" shoved a Marlin pitcher coming over to cover the bag (Nelson?) to the ground.  I want a major payback.

oh, well you missed what he did last night. he dove at Flores' legs on a play at the plate and put flores out for the game and likely longer. and no 'accident" about it.

that's why he got thrown at in the 1st inning tonight, and that's why Milledge took him down at 2nd base as well.

how that play turned into an 8-page thread whining about him crowding the plate is beyond me.

Wilmington-Potomac (top of the 11th):  Wilkie returns for the 11th.  The first batter, Adrian Ortiz, tries to bunt for a hit, but fails for out #1.  The second batter grounds to Lefave for an unassisted out #2.  Stephen King fields a simple grounder for out #3.  Josh Wilkie is rolling, only throwing 8 pitches in this inning.

Top of the order coming up for Potomac in the bottom of the 11th:  Martinez-Lefave-Rogelstad

Poll:  Is Colome our most reliable reliever lately?

He has been a whole hell of a lot better as of late. I still think he's probably gone after this season.

Wilmington-Potomac (bottom of the 11th):  Michael Martinez swings on a 2-2 pitch for his second consecutive strikeout.  Andrew LeFave makes contact on a 3-2 pitch off of Wilmington pitcher Swaggerty for a single, the winning run is on base.  Plancensia grounds to second, LeFave slides hard into the second baseman forcing the pitcher to come off of first, ruining the double play.  But whats this!  They say LeFave came out of the basepath to run into the second baseman, interference... double play counts.  To the 12th
