Compared to what?

Compared to if we had a nice, shiny trophy to polish to drown out the tripe.

Sucking like this only lends credence to their ass-hattery.

There's nothing we can do to save them.

Does anyone believe we can win two games in a row?

why not, win tomorrow, and we have to win one home game with Gio on the mound- tomorrow is the hard one in my mind

I'd like to think we can win two in a row.  But our team doesn't look like the same team that won 98 games.

Yes we did it against Cincy and ATL this season when everyone was done in the dumps. We have a shot just need someone to step up besides Desmond.

Yes. BTW, we are getting baserunners. If we start getting some timely hits and start playing like we have nothing to lose we could definitely take the series.

We took two in a row over STL, too.

I just so badly want a team that people won't have reason to laugh at.

The Phillies fans are going to be positively insufferable this off-season.

 :(

I honestly don't believe "not being laughed at" is a motivation for this team, at all, and that's sad.

Part of me does want to see Moore in left for Morse.  Moore has a shot at being part of your plans, so might as well get him blooded.
