If I ever meet Vega at Nats park and he gets up to get another beer.  I'll say, " and so he walks.."  LOL

The Legion is almost ready to set off on their trip. Spider shows Mattionals and CMD a new item he recently purchased from Vega the Acquirer, the Lootsack of Infinite Bottemlessness! Perfect for long quests in which much loot is expected to be acquired.

CMD has the highest carrying capacity of the Legionnaires due to the epic strength he has as a perk of his position as Chief Damage Absorber, so Spider equips him with the LoIB, thus granting him another title; Defender of the Loot.

After that, Spider takes CMD and Hammonds to Peggington to get stocked up on essential questing materials.

The first stop is a farm outside of Peggington to get some food.

Next, they stop by the blacksmith's shop to get all of the Legionnaires' weapons sharpened and the attributes maxed out.

After that, they head to the traveling merchant's shop to get important items.

Such as torches,

Phoenix downs, (In case of death.)

Assorted magical crap for Spider,

Rope,

And a ton of health potions, poison antidotes, and holy water.

Finally, they meet up with Vega to get some rare stuff. They buy some obscenely expensive elixirs that totally replenish health and magic. They also get a ghost sheet that causes invisibility and a mysterious lamp of some sort.

Vega also gives Hammonds a teddy bear for free. Hammonds is speechless with happiness.

As they walk out in to the bustling Cameo Street, Spider decides that they're ready to set out on their adventure.

And so they walk home.

Spider gathers all of the Legionnaires and gives a rousing speech about questing for loot, glory, and power.

Spider leaves the headquarters in the hands of Olivia and the Roman.

And with that, the Legion sets off in search of the magical Light Blue Barrel.

Cue the opening credits.

Nope. First one is from my own imagination, and the second is inspired by an Angry Video Game Nerd video.

Ah, just thought Rope was Boondock Saints since they joke about (and use) Rope since it seems every action hero uses it in some way.

I don't think I've ever shown you guys what exactly you are questing for:

Yup. It's a light blue barrel. And it's freakin' magical, nages.

As Chief Damage Adsorber, is CMD kind of like the Red Shirt security guy in Star Trek who always gets beamed down with Kirk, Spock, and Bones and who immediately gets his azz whupped by some alien?

You know, this guy, before he became the the plucky comic relief.

Probably named him Desmond Pooh.

As Chief Damage Adsorber,

I thought hammonds was the damage absorber.  :lmao:  But how does Chief figure into that?

Since we now possess the ghost sheet, does that mean eagleskins is walking around naked?

JCA are you insinuating that cmd absorbs my damage?  You've got it all wrong.  We're just friends.  Really.

Nah. Hammonds is the redshirt equivalent; CMD is comparable to the sort of character in an RPG that is strong, has a ton of health, and is good for absorbing damage and keeping the weaker characters; like mages and theives; from getting too damaged. Still, massive props for the Galaxy Quest reference.

It's just his title. It has nothing to do with the dino wizard.

I love "Cameo Street."
Can you find all of the people I have hidden in it?

AKA a "tank" in the RPG parlance.  And to hell with your "weaker" statement.  That tank may have saved me from dying 'cause I'm a squishy mage, but he isn't pumping out 62k DPS on Peroth'arn either
