I guess. But Indiana basketball has scored less than 85 points once so far this season.

Penn State Football scores look like this:

24-14
17-16
34-7
24-13
35-7
39-28
38-14
35-23
34-9
32-23
45-22

Have fun with your 48-40 snoozefest basketball games and 16-3 snoozefest football games. Bor1ngest conference in all the land.

Boring?   You enjoy watching floppin' Duke and whining Carolina?    That's just their football programs.    Personally, I'll take a 16-14 slugfest at Michigan Stadium or the Horseshoe any day.    A snoozer of Maryland at Indiana or Ohio State on the hardwood can't be any worse than watching Pitt vs Clemson in January.

big 10 football is painful compared to SEC, Pac 12 and even Big 12. Big 10 basketbasket ball is just boring, but with ND headed to the ACC, ACC gets that much worse

Indiana vs Maryland will be fun.

I'm just mad that CFB is screwing up sports that I enjoy more at this point (CBB, College Baseball, etc)

i'm fine with terps moving to big ten.  hoops will be fine.  edsall will just get blasted in front of full stadiums rather than half-empty ones (unless this program finally turns it around).

You're an idiot. Your hatred for Edsel is beyond creepy to be honest. The guy loses four freakin' qbs to season ending injuries and it's just a symptom of his coaching right? Christ on a cracker you're a mess.

Edsall sucks though, no matter who's back there at QB.

i already admitted the injuries suck (and out of his hands), but there's no excuse to lose to BC (twice), Uconn and temple in his two years.

I'm sorry but for the amount he's getting paid and the fact he's well on his way to a 6-18 mark is pathetic.

He came in to turn around the program,  and he turned a marginal bowl team into a doormat,  so he kind of did what he was asked to

lol.  :lmao:

most MD fans (outside of the few on here sticking up for him) want him out.  NCAA FB isn't like baseball where a pitcher's W-L record doesn't mean all that much.  Wins and losses in football ARE everything.  of course there was progress from last year but that's b/c he won friggin 2 games.

sure he helped take u-conn to the D1 BCS level, but i was never impressed with what he did there (barely over .500) and will still complain about him being the coach until he gives Terps fans a winner.

I hated the guy last year, but he did a great job recruiting. Or hiring the guy that did.

You can't know how good you are going to be way far in advance, but this feels like a scheduling mistake.

I only compared the Big 10 to the ACC.    The rest of the conferences are another issue.   If we're gonna go there, SWAC football is more entertaining than the SEC.     Plus, the bands are better.

oh.  Well it's part of the Barclays Center tournament the Terps are in.  Kentucky had to play all the same teams too (Morehead State, LIU-Brooklyn, Laffayette).

Did not know these early games were a tourney. It appears this one is not "televised" or avaialable online, right? RSN is carrying it - I don't get that.

6-17.  good record!

The team was 4-2 with a true freshman at qb before losing what? 3 qbs in 2 weeks? And you act as though he's just totally freaked the season? I just don't get it. The guy can't win for losing. The recruiting is already at least as good as it was under Fridge and it actually appears to be a disciplined team. Gasp! The horror! Yeah, a lot of players jumped ship, well buh bye! But hey, how's things going out at Washington State?

Edit:

Oh, and we've put out such a quality product over the years... a couple really good seasons yes, and a couple real turds too. Let's not pretend the Fridge was "the 'ol Ballcoach" or something. Edsel is in his second year and the team was devestated by injuries this year. He deserves at worst a mulligan for this year. Lets see what they do next year with more talent and perhaps a set of healthy qbs before we toss him on the trash heap.
The Edsel hate is irrational. I liked Fridge and was pissed to see him go fwiw.
