We'll get to their bullpen next inning, but that isn't saying much.

Clippard again falling behind in the count missing with his fastball by a ton and is forced to groove one.

It looks like all the Braves are swinging for the downs against Clippard after Chipper's shot

The didn't just want to end this winning streak.  They wanted to completely obliterate it from memory.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!   >:(

nope. the old nats are back. poor defense, woeful pitching, and no plan at the plate.

It's one freaking game. If this continues for a week, then your concerns are justified. Tommy Hanson is not some scrub, and the Braves have a really good pen.

The game thread was packed during the winning streak. The Nats sure know how to clear a room.

and that's the type of attitude that Manny Acta had that had gotten us into this hole to begin with.

tomorrow's game is a must win or things will really start to fall apart for this team. they will never be able to recover.

"One Freaking game" quickly snowballs to 4-5 or even more with the Nats. They had a chance to pounce on Hanson early in this game but didn't do enough and Lannan gave us nothing. crappy game to end the streak.

I'm ready for football.

A loss is a loss. Tomorrow is Derek Lowe, I would not be surprised if we lose again.

Drew Storen is on the mound in Binghamton to attempt to close out a 5-4 Harrisburg lead in his first AA appearance. Today is his birthday. This would be sweet for him.

I'm ready for football.

5 hours ago you posted this.   :?

This season is shaping up to be a disaster before it even starts. :(

I was excited too for a while but with no offensive line, a RB hitting the end of the road, unproven QB, and only 1 WR worth a damn, this year will likely be another struggle.

Instead of spending valuable early round picks on offensive lineman which has been a dire need for years we waste 3 picks on two WRs and one TE who have yet to show a damn thing and are constantly injured.

Randy Thomas should just hang it up because I doubt he'll ever be healthy. Who the hell knows who will make it out of the rest of them. If we have to rely heavily on guys like Rinehart and Heyer we will know that we are freaked.

I hope they can get over this game quickly, as in overnight.  :?
