Morse/Espy HR is basically our only chance against this guy. Don't see us stringing hits.

Okay enough sabermetrics bull crap for one second. He is outright pathetic. This isn't just a slump he looks awful, he doesn't even have the right mechanics any more. He has been awful in LF also. Just throw me more sabermetrics about how he is really a good fielder. Like anyone will care.
He was hitting .255 before his slump.
It seems a whole lot like a slump to me... Phillies fans described how he would get like this for extended stretches even during his good years.  And while he may indeed be awful in LF, I think that's acceptable because he's not an LFer :P  I do agree that his range hasn't been spectacular in RF but his arm has been excellent and he hasn't turned singles into XBHs like a number of our past RFs were wont to do (including Morse).

Let me be clear about something--I am disappointed by Werth's performance this year.  I think we all are.  I never expected him to even come close to living up to his contract, but I did expect a few really good years out of him, and this is not that.  However.  Let's not conflate "not living up to his contract" with "a terrible player who should be benched."  Werth is still an above-average major leaguer.

Thing I like most about Espinosa is his clutchness.  Dude is hitting over .300 with RISP.
