Lannan was far from great.  Had he gotten through 7 and not allowed that last run to score which was horrid I would have been more than satisfied with his performance.

however he gave us a chance to win and is not to blame for the loss despite not being at the top of his game.

u r the biggest zim homer ever.

lannan gave up two earned runs, put us in a GREAT position to win this ballgame and his pitch count wouldn't have been so high if zimmerman could make the simplest of all plays to first.

as a pitcher, that crappy defense behind you has to be discouraging.

I'm shocked that a Belliard at-bat would end like that!

I caught it.

I stepped away to the store for a minute. What did I miss regarding Olsen?

Soreness in the arm so he's scratched for tomorrow.

like DCFan said, even if RZ doesn't botch that play we are still trailing 2-1. offense was a complete no-show against a pitcher with a really high ERA that has been struggling lately.

It actually didn't hurt at all. I would've caught Zimmerman's monster jack too that same season if I hadn't moved out of my seat (misjudged it off the bat). It went over my head and hit the back of my seat.  :?

yeah the offense sucked but zim's defense NOR his bat helped us out whatsoever.  terrible game for him.

and u never know what would've happened if he didn't get that first error.

anywho, marrero is 3-for-3 with his 13th homer and is now batting over .300.  kid needs to be in AA.

disgusting. his run meant nothing. what the freak was he thinking? the tying run was at the plate.

If I were Rigglemann, Willie Harris would come in to play CF for Morgan.

Yeah I don't know why people are blaming Zimmerman's error for this eventual loss. While it cost a run the defense also stepped up and saved Lannan a few times. Lannan was good enough to win tonight. Our offense just sucked tonight.

Morgan picked off.  Blame Acta and fire him again.

I sweat that dude in the defining moment looks like kimnat.

who gives a freak? He just got picked off in the bottom of the 8th with the tying run at the plate. I don't care if he was 3/3 with 3 singles and 3 SBs. The play he just made is still unacceptable and amateurish.

Just another example of us being the biggest laughingstock in baseball.

Cut Tavarez now.  Take the ball, and escort him out of the Park.
