St. Louis might actually be the favorites to win that crappy division despite losing Albert.

Cincy?

Milwaukee still will have a very good rotation and pen.  Not sure how many runs they'll score, but I don't think they'll give up many.

That's going to be the oldest outfield I can remember.  Is Berkman moving back to 1st or do they plan to move Craig there?
Holliday/Jay/Beltran isn't too old. Berkman will probably be headed back to first.

If that's how they do it, then yeah, that's not too bad.  But they've got to find a spot for Allen Craig, don't they?  Where does he go?  If they've got to put both Beltran and Berkman in the outfield, I don't see that going so well.

Carlos Beltran has agreed to terms with RF Carlos Beltran on a 2-year deal as first reported by ESPN's Jerry Crasnick

Craig may still be forced in to part-time play again. I take back what I said about them being the favorites. I forgot about the Brewers. (From now on, I shall refer to Ryan Braun as The Hebrew Herpes.)

Is Holliday still afraid of flying objects?

Should be a competitive division between St. Louis, Milwaukee and Cincy.

2/26, full no-trade.  Wow.

Wow, this has been a crazy year for free agent deals.

they will still have the best pitching staff in the division assuming Wainwright is back to himself.

I don't think that happens right away, I think he could be by the ASB, but not out of spring training.

Ummm... @MLB just tweeted about "the odds of Beltran signing with the Indians." What are they smoking?

We're afraid of the PANatsFan back lash.

As for off seasons for other teams, the Oakland A's have traded Gio Gonzalez for 4 prospects.

Really? He's a damn solid pitcher. We should have gotten in on that.

Our old friend Lastings Milledge has been signed by...[drum roll]...The Tokyo Yakult Swallows. The deal is worth approximately $570K plus performance bonuses and includes a club option for 2013.

Wonder if he'll have to pay taxes on that and if performance bonuses are paid in comfort girls.

I find this funny. I'm a huge Allen Craig fan though.
