Funny thing about the league, it's really obvious when they've adjusted to a guy.

Harper is getting trash to hit, low and away. Because of this, his approach is all screwed up. He's missing hanging breaking balls and fastballs down the plate.

Johnson should have bunted him.
I'm glad to hear you have things all figured out.  I personally think it would be beyond stupid to use Harper to bunt a guy to second and guarantee two outs.  He's capable of blasting the ball out of the park, walking, or lashing a double.  He has 80 power.  He had a good at-bat.  It's a shame it didn't end the way one might have hoped, but I'd rather see an at-bat like that than a bunt.

Lombardozzi takes 2B, which means he'll score on a Cycle Triple from Zim-with-1-N. :run:

Lombo taking second gives us the exact situation we'd be in if Harper had bunted.

They aren't using Choate here vs LaRoche?

Even if he's on I almost prefer Zimmerman having the chance to put the bat on ball in that situation. He's such a beast.

Yes. But Randy Choate, another Yankee hero, about to pitch.

He got a hit?

Good at bats result in hits.

Should have bunted
