He can't hit right handed pitching.

Gotta love the slowest man on earth getting to 3rd.  Whoever got Pudge to focus on taking pitches the other way this week deserves a raise.

I read somewhere that in fact he has been working on exactly that with Eckstein, and the results are pretty positive over the last couple of weeks.

This team is awesome. We could win 18 out of our last 30 games!

Ray pointing out that Dunn is a better leadoff batter than Flush without actually saying it.

Damn, Espinosa has got some real pop.

As long as we finish with a better record than the zerO's, my fall campfire bragging rights are set.

The potential of Desmond/Espinosa is scary as a MI combo.

79 pitches.  Barely a year after TJ surgery. It's the right move.  That Espinosa error probably cost JZ a chance to go 5 and get the win.

Probably won't happen in 2011.  but right now, they're proceeding with caution.

The long inning put JZ on the bench. I think you might see this happen more often the rest of the year. A starter go 3-4 innings then another guy go 2-3 innings. There are a lot of pitchers who need action.

He is struggling with his command. It's not like they were going to give him 100 pitches after TJ. His pitch count seems to be around 90 so this makes sense.

I'm rioting if they pull Maya at 79 pitches with a lead tomorrow.

I expect JZ to be a 5 IP guy for September.  The 6 he got in Florida was on 86 pitches.

The potential of Desmond/Espinosa is scary as a MI combo.

Ticket sales are going to suck wind next year, with Strasburg being out.  But knowledgable fans realize that Zimmermann, Desmond, and Espinosa represent a really nice core of young, new talent infused into our team that will give us something to look forward to in 2011.

I'm kind of interested in seeing Balester get some extending 'pen innings this fall too.  Everytime he goes down, then comes back up, he's added an MPH to his fastball.  I'm ready for 98 this time.
