Subbing for the injured Alfonso Soriano in left, Hoffpauir made a diving catch in the stands in the third, going around a ball girl who was oblivious to the play, and reaching over some fans trying to make the catch."I went over the next inning and asked her, 'The next time, if you don't mind, take a look,'" Hoffpauir said. "She said, 'Look, I'm so sorry.' "And what happened the next time a foul went down the line?"She ran into the bleachers," he said with a laugh.
