what's their rotation. Gallardo is their ace I know and he's a #3 or #4 at best. They have Parra who's pretty crappy. Bush and Suppan stink.

They are all above Looper at this point. And Gallardo is solid. He's better than anyone in our system, that's for sure. And he's only 23.

Gallardo is decent but he's an injury risk I believe.

I'd still prefer our youthful and rotation full of upside. Milwaukee's rotation is full of bum veterans other than Gallardo.

Hill looked like he did last year when he pitched for us. something's not right with him. only a matter of time before he complains of arm soreness.

final line: 4 IP 5 H 3 R 2 ER 0 BB 2 K

hill had his ups and downs tonight, for the most part i thought he was serviceable, but not like the healthy hill we've known (albeit it was only for a bit).  two hits were rockets, the other 3 were infield dribblers.  no walks, and two k's are pretty good.

as for lolooper ... he's trash.  i thought it was funny my orioles friends were pumped when they almost got him i was like ehhh enjoy being the worst team in baseball this year.

Shawn Hill has made the Padres rotation as the 5th starter.  Good luck to him (obviously not against the Nats though).

Church didn't have such a bad day for the Mets either. Made a nice grab in the outfield.

Quote
Bonifacio had an incredible Marlins debut Monday, going 4-for-5 from the leadoff spot with four runs scored, two RBI, an inside the park home run and three steals.

Spin:
If there was one blemish on an otherwise great day it was that the converted second baseman, now installed at third base, committed an error in the field. But if he keeps parlaying his electric speed into this kind of production the Marlins will be perfectly happy letting him boot the ball around. A very impressive Marlins debut for the young infielder to say the least. His eligibility as a second baseman in many fantasy leagues along with his opportunity to lead off in a potent Florida lineup make him worth considering as a pickup in nearly all formats. If Bonifacio went overlooked in your draft or auction, he won't be long for the free agent pool.

I read the above in my ESPN fantasy league. I think its crap but if Olsen and Willingham suck it up I'l be giving credit for picking talent when we've still cannot tell our head from a hole.

Albajfkdlsdgdejo pitched a couple innings for the Yankees against hte O's, but all I saw were flyball outs. Might be better to have him than Clippard, but maybe not.

Soriono with a first pitch 2 run HR to put the Cubs up 6-5 over the Brewers in the top of the ninth. Too bad he ain't still here. He could play 2nd base. ;)

Shawn Hill allowed two runs in five innings for a win for the Padres. He only walked one batter but threw 70 pitches.
