they should really sell advertising space on the upper deck. they could even make it a promotion: buy four tickets, get a hotdog, soda, and the right to drape a banner over empty seats

Wouldn't go to the Marlins, but rather to the Ross (new owner of Dolphins and Stadium, along with Gloria Estephan as a minority owner).

Upper deck and about half the lower bowl aren't available for Marlins games.  The lower bowl restrictions are due to configuration  for baseball with seats folded away and no railings (thus the potted palm trees in the tunnels in LF, no seats in RF corner, CF, etc.).  As baseball stadiums go, its a fine football stadium.

Wasn't the decision to close off the upper deck from Loria/Samson?

What's up with Nieves getting two starts in a row?

Bard on the way out?

West is a lefty. Bard can switch hit with more pop, so he gets more starts overall, but Manny seems to try and get Nieves in games against the lefty starters.

Maybe I'll fall asleep again - worked for Olsen last night. Just need to wake up before the pen strikes.

Yikes, our defensive alignment in the OF tonight is frightening. They shouldn't allow Stammen to look at it.

That crowd is really amazing. I think there were more people at every game I've seen at Spring Training.

While Nick-at-Nite hits .345 against lefties, he's in an awful slump, so I benched him and started Cantu.

Adam Dunn, favorite player of Mintyfresh, sportsfan & AZ, drives in Zim-with-1-N.

Landsharks 0
