This has been a pretty solid ballgame. No errors, great pitching, and enough offense to be comfortable at the moment. A little more offense and this would be a great game.

Flores is a Major League hitter. He is much better up here than in AAA.  He is now batting .375 in the Majors this season.

I just picked him up REAL cheap on Rotohog. Really helped my team out because I could then buy some better players at all the other positions.

Wow, Garret Mock has turned it on recently in AAA. 2.25 in May and his last 3 or so starts are all good.
He's getting hit pretty hard so far today.  8 hits in 5 innings.  That's been his problem - he's too hittable.  He gives up too many hits per 9 innings.  The control peripherals are good, though.  Solid BB/9 and K/BB ratios.

Balester's been pitching pretty consistently well, but he still has control issues.  He's the opposite of Mock.  He's pretty hard to hit, but he's gotta get that walkrate down.

The guy who's really turned it up and been very solid all-around lately is Tyler Clippard.  I'd love to see him get a call-up along with Bergmann so that Chico and O'Connor get cut off the roster.

Unless Flores slumps severely, I'm going to be very pissed if he's replaced by Lo Duca or Estrada upon their return.  I see no reason why he can't permanently claim the starting catcher job with this stint.

Awesome fantasy site. You buy players (every day if you want) and pick up as many points as you can. Hopefully you make good picks and the price of your team keeps rising. It's cool because there are great monthly prizes and it's free. There are also some sick ass season prizes, but I started late, so that's going to be almost impossible for me. Definitely my favorite fantasy-type site, though.

Works for me. Low WHIP. Great K numbers.

I'd prefer to see Flores and Nieves trade starts for the rest of the season. They're both good catchers and I think they'd really feed well off each other. As for the other 2...dump 'em.

Ayala needs to go on the DL until he gets himself fixed. He has been serving BP in a bunch of his recent performances.
