oh shut the freak up Rob and Bob.

What the hell are they talking about? Since when are they limiting JZ to 90 pitches? They are just making up crap at this point to defend Acta.

ZNN has been struggling with some elbow issues. Had he been left in longer and exacerbated that injury you would be nagging about that.

melt down by Bergmann but the horrific underperforming offense once again took the night off after the first few innings.

they are just as much to blame. they should have smoked Sonnanstine.

and people wondered why the Nats drafted a bunch of relievers in the draft.

We have nearly no promising relievers in the system other than Clippard and Zinicola. We need a complete revamp of the pen and it starts with the draft picks and those two minor leaguers. A few quality FA relievers would be a nice addition.

I would be happy if we kept none of the current relievers on the team going into 2010.

I couldn't agree more. I wish I could love this team a little less... It is like being a Lions fan but every day. It is getting brutal. Please fire Manny and bring up some youngsters! Give us something to hope for.

i like beimel.  if villone continues to stay hot i'm sure we can use him as a trading chip for a prospect that we may see in 10 years from now if ever.

Nats blow a 3-0 lead last night and a 2-0 lead tonight.

Should have won this series and we are going to end up getting swept.

Colome is an embarrassment. But we already knew that. They just refuse to do anything about it for another year!

No. O'Connor and Bergmann have had some bad ones in the past.

Don't worry Nats fans, Kip Wells is on a rehab assignment and will be off the DL soon. :hang:

Inning that is a summation of the season and Manny Acta's tenure with the Nationals.

They non-tendered him in the off-season and then gave him a Minor League deal. :?

Hopefully Rizzo (or whoever the GM is) gets rid of the entire pen in the off-season. ALL OF THEM.

Colome, Manny, Hanrahan can split a freaking rental car back to DC to pick up their crap and head to Camden for the independent leagues.

I'm glad Rizzo is in the stands watching this. He'll have to make some moves after this game.

I wish Bernie wasn't injured. He would be getting so much valuable playing time up here. :(
