The style of player I like is not Desmond.  I prefer crafty, situational hitters like Zimmerman and Rendon.

What you like are elite hitters that have the potential to be top 20 OPS hitters. Hell, I like those kinds of players as well. We cant have a whole team of those guys

So I'm out of it. What do the other letters stand for. (I know what NWA is.)
now I want to extend him:

"nats world order" - it's based on the "new world order" wrestling faction that was hot in the 1990s in WCW.

I think it's me and you against the world.    I don't understand the infatuation with Espi-NO-sa.   I'd love to be wrong but don't think it's gonna happen.

Ahem...don't forget ol' pops here... :old:

Espinosa is a sub; Desmond is too inconsistent.  Both should be gone after this year.  If Turner is not ready in 2016 Escobar can fill in for a season.  End of story

Man, you forgot the joke already?      :)    Pretending like I can't make out the question/point.     Wow, bro, you are old.   ;)

Then we need a 2B next year. Difo?

Barring Desmond changing course and taking a substantial hometown discount, I think the Nats just thank him for the memories this offseason.

I'm fine signing a bargain bin free agent this offseason and letting that guy battle Espinosa for the right to keep the seat warm until Turner is ready to go.

EDIT

Forgot about Escobar. Probably time to let Desmond walk barring big discount.

Every indication is that Escobar was a good signing.  I, for one, an glad to have him on the team...

Maybe, but it would mean Difo moves up fast. He's had one good-hitting season, and he's at Potomac now. Would need High-A, AA, and AAA this year.

He held his own in ST. Promote him halfway through this year and see what happens?

That NWO shirt is all I ever wanted. I hope that's for sale somewhere.

it has to be homemade, I can't imagine the WWE or MLB would license their copyright for that.  IIRC there's some guy who makes these kinds of shirts and gives them to the players pretty regularly.

Are the rest of us supposed to know what NWO is? NWA on the other hand . . .

I'm glad to have him but the cost was way too high. I'd rather have  a (healthy) Clippard.

That 1 year of Clippard does nothing for us next year with Espinosa and Difo as our best two MIs and Kobernus (assuming we wouldn't have DFAed him) as the backup.
