What could any manager have done to change this?  Pathetic offensive effort.

The manager can't do a freaking thing with a bad team like this.

I mean there are some good hitters on this team, they all started to suck at the same time??? It just seems like they've given up.

Exactly.  Maybe re-arrange the deck chairs on the Titanic.

You gotta start somewhere. This team needs to be dismantled, except for some of the pitching. crapcan this team and start again like it's 2005.

That's the sportsfan philosophy.

Effort?  I think you're being far too generous.

Offensive indifference would be more accurate.

Really solid effort from Stammen. He was erratic early, but battled and really settled in and gave us good innings.  Even the bullpen was adequate.

That's the sportsfan philosophy.

SF is still blaming the HP ump for tonite's debacle.

The young pitchers are the only bright spot in this otherwise dismal season. I don't see how any of the position players can be guaranteed to have a job next season. That includes the All-Star. He's just an average third baseman with an eratic arm.

Sad as hell. I've never been so embarrassed to be a fan of a team before.

I had to live thru the 107 loss Oriole team and this is the worst.  The Nationals have more talent then that team had and may lose 110+

Exactly.  The managerial change took too long, none of them seem to believe they can be better anymore.
