Loudoun soccer will involve polo ponies kicking the ball while Binky and Muffy have a picnic on the side.

...  as I sip my rum from the flask tucked in my coat.   :P     Ain't many Binkys and Muffys in my neighborhood.    You must be thinking back to the days of Jackie O,  Jack Kent Cooke and Robert Duval.    Now all the yuppies from Ashburn go to The Plains and pretend they're upper class as they wear ugly hats and sip champagne from the back of their Ford Escape.

Dammit I swear I went to college with some horsey types from Loudoun 30+ year ago before they let the riff-raff in.

By the way, I forget, which one has NASCAR?  Loudon or Loudoun?

NASCAR's in New Hampshire (Loudon I think).    Thirty plus years ago  !?!    Goodness man, this place ain't nothing like it was back then.   Ashburn was actually a farm !!

Can't remember who but the guy who scored the Spurs' first goal (Spurs led 1-0) got red carded.   Arsenal then poured it on.     WBA is leading Chelsea.

Man U/QPR just started...every TV in town (Yogyakarta, Java) is tuned in.  Rangers are sponsored by Air Asia, a big local airline...they even have planes flying local routes here with QPR livery.

Missus and I watched (I watched she peeked in) the United series with Houston.   This past Sunday, she peeked in on the EPL matches.    I was shocked when she said, "These English guys are so much better than the American version.    They pass better and don't waste as much time trying to find the ball.   They're so much more efficient."   I was stunned    ....

Stunned that she was dissing 'mercuns, or stunned that she could recognize the obvious difference?

Big understatement.

And Fellaini is making things tough for Man City.

Fellaini is a great player. His passing is so much better than it was two or three years ago.

I wonder how much longer Wenger will be around.  They came back from a terrible start last season, but being in a big hole at the start of every December is no way to win trophies.
