Should have put Dukes instead of Langerhans, but that's OK...

You deleted my thread for that layout?

Am I the only one who isn't excited about Casto?  It's not like we haven't seen him before.

From the Post Journal:

"Note also that mad scientist Tony LaRussa placed pitcher Kyle Lohse - batting .303 with two homers in 109 at bats - in the eight hole, ahead of shortstop Caesar Izturis. Perhaps Manny Acta should have considered a similar strategy with Odalis Perez: his .250 batting average is higher than four of the seven players in the Nats' starting lineup who have played a major league game this year. The numbers supporting Washington's current offensive ineptitude remain in endless supply."

I can barely contain my enthusiasm. There might even be a couple of times where I call him by his correct name.

I'm not either but I am hoping for a surprise, miracle, act of God, whatever you want to call it.

I bet if they closed their eyes in the on deck circle, and didn't open them until after their at bat they would hit better.

This game has blowout loss written all over it. The Cardinals OWN and I mean OWN Odalis Perez. Lohse owns us on the other hand. He shut us out over 7 innings during the second week of the season.

alright, i've accepted the fact that zimmerman is on the dl, it's time to stop sulking and move on and be optimistic that the rest of the team will step it up in his absence and have a solid june!

LETS GO NATS!

This team isn't worth my getting away from my comfortable computer chair, so I'll just follow along on Gameday and go with the thread.

The rain is quickly moving straight for D.C. It's already pouring here in Prince William County.

Count me in as not at all excited about Casto.  But at least I'm getting this game on MASN.

His worst year was last year (majors and minors). I think he'll impress.

And here comes the rain. It doesn't look good at all. This rain will last a while.

You deleted my thread for that layout?

And your thread was something to write home about?

"Placeholder"

By the way, I'm using this abridged layout for now since my schedule's been a bit hectic these last few weeks, and spending two minutes making the thread instead of ten helps...

The real Perez is going to start showing himself.  We need a crazy amount of offense to win tonight.
