Not a terrible outing last night. I think 5IP, 3ER?

42 pitches through 2 innings.  Getting the K's but running up his pitch count with a bunch of 3 ball counts.

Hagertown's Gameday audio has a ton of static.  Its too annoying for me to listen to.

The Hagerstown stream is usually pretty clear for me, but some nights it is really bad.  Luckily, this game is on milb.tv tonight.

Would you recommend that?  Do the lower levels usually have an outfield camera, or just a homeplate camera?

Camera angles are not great for the lower levels, most of the time they are from the press box area so high up.  Until last year, the Nats organizations rarely had the video feeds for their home stadiums, but now Hagerstown, Harrisburg, and Syracuse all have it.  Definitely better for watching hitters than pitchers.

If you listen to a lot of games like me, then the 40$/year is worth it just for the visual to go along with the game (I believe it is a cheap add-on if you have mlb.tv).  Though, if you don't listen/watch a ton of minors games then the camera angles and video quality may irk you or make you feel like it isn't worth it.

That works for me.  Thanks for the help.

Some of the more well equipped stadiums have multiple camera angles and pretty nice production quality.  This is specifically true for the teams that broadcast their games on local television stadiums.  MASN use to simul-broadcast a few AA Harrisburg games every year when they visited Reading and I wonder if they have any plans to broadcast a few Suns, Senators, or Chiefs games now that they all have video capability.

We could always plug him in to the bullpen. Given Gorzo, Wang, Lidge and Storen's issues, we might need it

Some scouts thought he would end up there eventually.

Meyer running into trouble in the 4th inning, seems like a regular occurrence for him.  He let up a double with two outs, then a single and now just walked a guy.

Pitch count was a big problem for Meyer again tonight and is done after the 4th because of it.

Fastball looked great, tons of movement.  His command appears to be his biggest weakness at this point.

If you are in a playoff run, playoffs come first, not holding on to all the prospects.  One of the purposes of farm systems is to provide trade fodder.

You trade from areas of surplus.  Trading to get pieces just because you have some decent prospects has always seemed backwards to me.

From the Suns site on Sat. night, 5/5:
"Suns starting pitcher Alex Meyer (2-3) delivered seven strong innings in the longest outing of his career, striking out six batters while allowing one run on four hits."  Also 3 BBs.
