I feel badly for these N Korean players...they'll probably be thrown back into Kim Jong Il's harem when they get back to Pyongyang.

US 2 to North Korea 0 at 77:55.  It's on ESPN.

Who did DRK get to "play" for them this year?

Eleven nearly identical looking women.  They are actually quite good considering that they don't get a whole lot of international exposure.

Anelka? Wow. That would be a huge get. He isnt far removed from being a top player. He probably still is.

Now they just need to get Domenech as coach, and life will be great up in the New Jersey septic plain.

Great win for DC United tonight. Awesome game. De Rosario is the man.

United would be sitting pretty if they didn't blow two games late

Does DeRosario really count as "American Soccer"?

I'm not gonna lie. I did just scream out loud in my living room when the US scored. Rapinoe has played great today. Lots of good balls into the box.

Theyve played much better than the last game. It looked like they played last game in ankle high grass with lots of rocks. They couldnt link two passes together

We got freaked by the terrible officials on both goals and it was amazing to see Wamback's goal. Hope they can pull it out.

Brazil naged and whined and dove the entire game (like their male counterparts) and deserved to lose. freak 'em.

Was it Adrianne (or something like that) who had the own goal, lost her mark on Wambach, then blew her PK?  Talk about a trifecta!  Lucky she's not Columbian.

Abby Wambach...still fondly remembered for her years at the old WUSA Washington Freedom (champions in that league's final year).

Best header since Tore Andre Flo put Norway over Brazil in Group A during the 1998 mens' World Cup.  Way to go Abby.

Corrected the name.  Own goal and missed PK, and the cross to Wambach went over her head when the keeper moved to it. I think she or maybe #5 were the only defenders who could have picked up Wambach.

The French women could easily beat the French men

(of course that was probably true with the USA back in '98-'99)
