Inexcusable. All this inning is doing is making those racist Atlanta fans crank up their neo-nazi chant. They may as well just get this over with quickly and get out of town.
they should have skipped this series and flew straight to Cincy from D.C. if they were going to lay two straight eggs like this.

I really don't know why he'd use Bergmann here.  It's not like we have the heart of the order coming up so the likelihood of winning is minimal.  Just give up the grand slam and get the ducks off the pond.

Kensing could give up the grand slam.

This is a bad game. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come

:lmao:

last night's blowout loss was a sure fire sign that we were going to go on a prolonged skid of losing just like we do every time after we go on a win streak. we can never sustain good play for longer than a week or two.

I don't get mad about things like this, but I don't understand Rigglemans thinking at all here.  F-it that is DUMB managing, Jim.

I just don't understand what the thinking was here.  A manager has to know when a game is lost and he has to manage from that standpoint.

That means, after Burnett imploded, you go to Kensing or Villone.  Why save Logan Kensing for the Reds series!

Look on the bright side, at least we will enter the Strasburg sweepstakes with a losing streak instead of a winning streak that would be used as an excuse for progress for not signing him.

We're playing the Reds next in Cincy. It's much more hitter friendly, and they don't have the Braves pitching

it's sad that all we can hope for is to beat up on the worst teams in the league.

we are 14-41 (.255) on the road so it really doesn't matter who we play. this team doesn't have the guts to win on the road.

This was the worst managed game of the Riggleman era.  I wouldn't hire him just because of this game.  A quality manager is INCAPABLE of this kind of performance.  A good manager would never have a game where he made these kind of decisions.

Fire Riggleman and hire Jose Morales(is he alive?) now!

Morgan should get benched tomorrow for pulling that stunt.

should never happen, not even in little league ball.

The obsession with Morgan's basestealing abilities has got to stop. Yes, he has speed, and he can be a threat. But his SB count is useless given the CS%. He gets picked off far too often and that needs to be worked on very seriously. He had no place to go there. No reason to be in that position.

Morgan really is too undisciplined.  Where was he going?  Someone was on second!
