Acta should take full responsibility in the post-game press conference for this loss. I hope one of our moron reporters ask him why he started Cintron and put him in the lead-off spot.

the walks in the 9th inning were pathetic. more overmanaging by Manny. Hinckley should have never been brought in the game to begin with. Acta puts our pitchers in position to fail.

Yeah, a reliever walking a batter in with the bases loaded is about the worst thing you can do.  If you are going to get beat, make them beat you on a good pitch!

I like Hinckley's curveball, but his control problems are too damaging.

oh yes, that DP should have been made too. a decent throw has the runner thrown out by a mile. thanks again Acta for starting Cintron.

we just don't do things necessary to win baseball games. no clutch hitting and our relief pitchers don't throw strikes.

the bigger issue should be out bats left too many freakin men in scoring position on a night when the starting pitching and bullpen was pretty good for the most part.

yep, pretty much. Mock's walk of Schafer was absolutely horrific but I would have at least liked to see Acta give him a chance to get the final out rather than bringing in another reliever who has control problems with two runners on.

it's true.  hinckley was solid last year b/c he threw strikes.  this year he tried to get too cute.  he's always had potential, but how much more can we wait around for him too.

haha in the postgame manny pretty much calls out dukes and flores for failing to get those runs in.  hahahaha there ya go manny, about time you start calling people out.
