Redding did this exact same thing against the Giants Friday Night.  5 walks in 5 inning.  It was exhausting.

And it cost us, plus we didn't hit that game. Also, that was the last time we didn't get a good outing from a starter.

I remember when Eischen broke his arm like that in 2005.

Bacsik must have a pact with the devil because he's back in the rotation :?

son of a nag.. This is probably the last time we see Redding in a Nationals uniform.

We are going to need 10 runs to win this game now..

but there is one constant on this team: they dont know how to play baseball when they have the lead. i dont know why. but everytime they have a lead, they let the other team back in the game.

I have a feeling he was more embarrassed than anything. He'll be fine.

Might have hit his funny bone, too.

Funny, I was just popping in to say something exactly along those lines.  Sizeable early leads are like a garlic to a vampire for this team somehow.

Case in point: The game against the cubs where we hung 4 on Zambrano in the 1st.

Case in point #2:  We score 6 runs in the first against Cincy only to eventually lose the game

Detwiler won't be pitching tonight.. He had a side session today and Manny said he won't pitch tonight.  He'll more than likely make his debut in Atlanta this weekend.
