Nice back to back to back strikeout performance from Stammen.

K I am going to watch a movie before bed ... which one should I watch (either rank 'em in order or just list answer)?  Voting commences @ 9:35:

Book of eli, Inglorious bastards or shutter island.

Thanks.

It's so bad we have to depend on Willie Harris to pinch hit.

I have a crush on Mila Kunis, so I'm very biased in voting for The Book of Eli.

Carp saying to watch Pudge as he crossed home plate, so I watched.

First thing Pudge did was get in a good package heft.  So what's unusual about that?   :?

Then, he reached around (no, not a "reach around") and massaged his lower back.  That's the issue.  I think he rushed back (to catch Stras)after his early season injury outage and his back is continuing to bother him.  Is that responsible for the full suckitude at the plate?  Probably not, but is probably a factor.

Yep, Pudge definitely reached around and held his back.  Definitely a problem there.

Wouldn't it be nice to see Dunn hit a big one here?

Inglorious Basterds is definitely the best of the three. Shutter Island is a very close second, but it's a poorer movie the first time you watch it than the second. Book of Eli, I was really looking forward to, but I'm sorry, it really sucked.

You know this is a bad game when I'm sitting in my seat at Nats Park recommending movies to people via the net.

Good to hear that Dunn spent a ton of money to help Zimm with the MS research.

What a guy.

This is one of the most miserably hot games I ever went to. I envy everyone watching on tv in ac, then when you add the score to the heat you've got the worst/most uncomfortable game ever at Nats Park or RFK. We even got taunted with about three droplets of rain five minutes ago. Then nada, and if anything it even made it more humid instead of cooling it down. I've never left a game before the ninth inning, but I came close tonight.

It's slightly better watching at home.  The gin and tonics are cheaper, for one thing.
