Livan had a nice start but he's coming back into form now. :) 2-2 LAA tied with MIN

not to nitpick with you, but I'd really like to reserve this thread for NL East Baseball.

can make other threads for general baseball-watching, i guess. and there is also a Former Nat Watch thread that I'll re-sticky if need be.

Pittsburgh with the tying run on 3rd with 1 out. Moylan enters the game.  :D

Pitiful. Sanchez hit a tall chopping grounder that the runner could have scored on but he stayed at 3rd for some reason.

EDIT: Bay hits a routine grounder to Escobar and he throws it in the dirt to Teixeira who can't come up with it. Pitt ties it 4-4.  :)

The Braves' commentators are a bunch of dicks.  The one guy just said "No offense to the Nats but they are not on the same level as the Mets, Phils, Braves.  Any games against them or teams like the Pirates should be must wins."

I hope they finish behind the Marlins in the NL East Cellar.

I honestly believe that outside of Starting Pitching, the Nationals are a better team than the Braves. sure they got Tex,Larry and McCann, but their bullpen is asscheeks, and the rest of their lineup is not impressive(I think francoeur is overrated).  the Braves Fans smug sense of entitlement extends to the commentators, and I think they are in for a rude awakening this year or next.

3-run shot for the Pirates. smh @ the Braves bullpen.
