It reeks of bribe, but gosh darnit I wished the Nats did this:

Voting is now open at orioles.com for the 2009 MLB All-Star Game in St. Louis -- and the Orioles have some All-Star rewards just for you!

Vote at orioles.com and list the O's as your "favorite team" or "other favorite team," and you'll receive an exclusive promo code good for $5 off any ticket to an Orioles non-prime home game after the All-Star break. But, if you vote the maximum 25 times, you'll receive a promo code good for a FREE UPPER RESERVE ticket to any O's non-prime home game after the break! So vote early ... and vote often!

Shameless.

This only makes the All-Star Game more of a farce than it already is.

  • BE LOUD. BE PROUD. BE POSITIVE!
Read the fine print.  Its only good for 1 ticket:

During the week of July 20, 2009, the Baltimore Orioles will send eligible participants an e-mail containing a ticket redemption code which may be used online only. Limit one (1) redemption code per e-mail address. Redemption code will be valid for one (1) non-prime game ticket in Oriole Park Upper Reserve seat seating after the All-Star break, subject to availability. Free ticket offer not available at the box office, by phone, or by postal mail.

So if you go as a family either everyone in the family must vote 25 times (and have an email address) or you go by yourself!
