Interesting bit: Craig Counsell is now at the Brewers; he pinch-hit yesterday and started today.

On our first-ever home Opening Day, 14th April 2005, he was at the Diamondbacks, starting at 2nd base, and took the first-ever at-bat at a Nationals home match...stepping in against Livan Hernandez, he was out on a called third strike.

In this RFK farewell season, it does get a bit poignant, the way things can come full circle like this.

I guess that means I'm the culprit for the beatings we've been taking. As long as they keep winning I'll be more than happy to stay away from the game thread during games.
