We really are catching the Orioles at the best time.

They just got smoked by the Rangers last night, plenty of their regulars they are supposed to rely on are struggling mightily (except for Scott, Wigginton), Wieters is banged up a bit and it looks like their guys aren't playing hard for their manager (see: 2009 Nats + Acta, Manny).

We should take 2-of-3 from these dudes, especially tonight's game.

David Hernandez is a decent prospect, fits more of the #5 starter mold.  He hasn't yet recorded a win this year and boy can he give up the big inning.  This is a guy you can't let off the hook.  Not a lot of scouts like his make-up and he is prone to pouting if he doesn't get a call his way.

Fastball is 91-94 MPH, good slider, change-up is below average.

We should get at least 3-4 runs off of him.

Cristian Guzman has more walks than Adam Jones? That's nuts, the O's need to send Jones down.

Remember when MikeHughes posted that picture of Jones looking crazy with his eyes closed, then MLB linked to a much better picture and it magically disappeared?I wish I had saved the original.

um, the nats bats still tacked on 7 runs.

i'd rather face crappy-to-mediocore john maine who we prepared for rather than unknown crappy-to-mediocore what's his name.

Do yourself a favor - scroll down on this piece to the list of guys who have played for both the Nat & O's franchises.  It is absolutely absurd:

Is this scouting the opposing team or an undercover birds fan?

A friend of mine had the best line about that city I've ever heard:  "Baltimore is like Cleveland...with a bad paint job."

Ouch.  My mom's family is from Cleveland and I have to agree.  Cleveland is mostly miserable, but B'more is pretty bad too.  Within 3 blocks of Camden is fine, after that, it is gross.

Olsen has done well against Wigginton in his career, but that's still a scary matchup.
